Kevin Crawshaw

  • Funds SA Director from 1995 to 2006; re-elected in October 2009 and re-appointed in October 2012. He was elected as a director by the members of South Australian government superannuation schemes.
  • Kevin Crawshaw brings to the Board expertise in finance and corporate governance. He has worked in the SA public health system as a hospital Chief Executive Officer, as well as in a number of policy and corporate support positions. His directorships and work in the health industry enhance the Board's appreciation of public and private sector functions.

  • Jane Jeffreys brings to the Board extensive board, executive and consulting experience in the public, private and not for profit sectors. She has expertise and understanding of Strategy, Financial Management, People and Culture, Technology, Marketing and Communication.

Paul Laband

  • Director and member of the Audit & Risk Committee.

  • Paul Laband brings to the Board significant portfolio and investment experience from a career in investment management and asset consulting.  His former roles which include, head of National Asset Management (NAM), Towers Perrin, Russell Investment Group Asset Consulting (Australia) and Abbey Life Investment Services in the UK, along with his most recent management roles at UniSuper as Head of Public Markets (listed asset classes both domestically and globally) and subsequently Head of Strategic Tilting, contribute to his role on the Funds SA Board.

Jan McMahon

  • Director and member of the Human Resources Committee.
  • Funds SA Director since July 1999. Last re-appointed July 2014. She was appointed to the Board by the Governor of South Australia upon the nomination of the South Australian Government Superannuation Federation. 
  • Jan McMahon brings to the Board public and private sector experience and expertise in the areas of workplace safety, workers' rehabilitation and compensation. Her long commitment to South Australia 's public sector employees and directorship of Super SA contributes to her role on the Funds SA Board.

Kathryn Presser

  • Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee
  • Funds SA Director since December 2014.
  • Kathryn Presser brings to the Board extensive experience in all aspects of financial, project and management accounting. She has widespread company secretarial experience in public listed and private companies in a wide range of industries and, in particular, over 18 years’ experience at Beach Energy Limited. She also has broad governance and legislative experience through company director positions.

Robert Patterson

  • Robert Patterson brings to the Board substantial private sector experience and expertise, particularly in the areas of investment management, governance and accounting. In this regard, he has held executive roles with Argo Investments Limited including Company Secretary, Chief Executive and Managing Director.
